Japan trip 2007

We went to Japan for 2 weeks. Here is highlight of trip.
The first day, we went to Roppongi to meet up with my artist friend. We found this crazy fruit store at Mid-town. They sell grapes for more than $100 and some peaches are $200... It looks great, but I wonder who actually buy them.


This is my mom's new little car. This is called "kei size" Kei means light, but tommy thought this was K-size. He was wondering if there is L or M size...


The black thing is called Ohagi. It is sticky rice covered by sweet beans. It is tradition to eat during Obon period. Obon is a Buddhist ceremony that we invite ancestor’s sprit to come home.


and this is Kobe beef tataki from restaurant "garari". very good.


This is an advertisement for host bar. As far as I know Japanese rich? girls go there and drink and flirt with these boys. If I ever go to bar to flirt, I don't wanna sit next to these girly boys. I have hard time believing some Japanese boy being straight.


This is tommy playing Pachinko. We didn't win any money this time.


This is Soba restaurant near Ochanomizu called "Yabusoba" They have been in business since Edo period (1603-1868)
There soba is amazing!!!

I fixed

I forgot to put up on this blog, but I fixed my jellyfish painting. I will take better image some other time.
