Japan trip 2007
We went to Japan for 2 weeks. Here is highlight of trip.
The first day, we went to Roppongi to meet up with my artist friend. We found this crazy fruit store at Mid-town. They sell grapes for more than $100 and some peaches are $200... It looks great, but I wonder who actually buy them.
This is my mom's new little car. This is called "kei size" Kei means light, but tommy thought this was K-size. He was wondering if there is L or M size...
The black thing is called Ohagi. It is sticky rice covered by sweet beans. It is tradition to eat during Obon period. Obon is a Buddhist ceremony that we invite ancestor’s sprit to come home.
and this is Kobe beef tataki from restaurant "garari". very good.
This is an advertisement for host bar. As far as I know Japanese rich? girls go there and drink and flirt with these boys. If I ever go to bar to flirt, I don't wanna sit next to these girly boys. I have hard time believing some Japanese boy being straight.
This is tommy playing Pachinko. We didn't win any money this time.
This is Soba restaurant near Ochanomizu called "Yabusoba" They have been in business since Edo period (1603-1868)
There soba is amazing!!!

i wanna go to japan! i've been wanting to go for over 15 years...! boo... well, that's awesome that you went with tommy and that his physique makes japanese men look like dainty, "girly boys!"
that roppongi place looks like i would try to steal something from it! what would they do if i got caught? probably wrap me beautifully into an air tight roll. ouch.
i didn't know about pip and the accordion, peggy must be loving that! i, on the other hand, would like to hear what's she's been practicing. i'll have to ask her next time i see her.
so, this is a long post. if you post regularly, i'll visit and we can be blogging buddies. in which, as a matter of fact, maybe you can give me some pointers...like, how do you add a the links list? i wanna do that...i wanna be cool too...

about the link. You have to have the original template to do the way I do, but I am sure there are other way with your template.
I don't know much, but I just ask "link" to one of those question part.

and Come to japan with us in april!! I think flight is cheaper, but still not that cheap....
